BEFORE YOU BOOK
Frequently asked
Ask before you pay, not after. We would rather spend ten minutes on the phone than have you book the wrong departure.
Booking
What does the price include?
Unless the package page says otherwise: return flight, visa, accommodation in both cities, all transfers, full board feeding, ziyarah and travel insurance. Passport issuance, vaccination, personal shopping and excess baggage are not included.
Can I change my departure date?
You can move to another departure of the same package while seats remain, up to the point your visa is filed. After filing, a change means a new visa and is treated as a fresh booking.
How close to the Haram are the hotels?
Every departure names its exact Makkah and Madinah hotel on the board before you book. We do not list a star rating in place of a hotel name, and we do not substitute a property after you have paid.
Payment
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. Every package has a deposit that holds your seat, and the balance is cleared on a schedule you can see in your account. The full balance must clear before visa filing closes for that departure — the exact date is shown on your booking page.
How do I pay?
Two ways. Pay by card, bank transfer or USSD through Paystack and your booking updates the moment it clears. Or transfer directly to the TravelNest account shown on your booking page and upload the receipt — a member of staff confirms it, usually the same working day.
Is the deposit refundable?
Before your visa is filed, the deposit is refundable less an administrative charge shown in the booking terms. Once the visa has been issued, the visa portion is non-refundable because that money has already gone to the Saudi authorities. Ground arrangements can still be partly refunded depending on how close to departure you cancel.
Travel
Is there an age limit?
There is no upper or lower age limit for Umrah, but every traveller under 18 must be accompanied by an adult on the same booking. Hajj age rules are set by Saudi authorities each season and we confirm them when the quota is released.
Can a woman travel for Umrah without a mahram?
Under current Saudi guidance, yes — a woman may perform Umrah without a mahram. This rule has changed before and can change again, so we confirm the position that applies to your specific departure at the time of booking.
What do I need besides the package?
A Nigerian passport valid for at least six months beyond your return date, a yellow fever card, and the vaccinations required for that season. We tell you exactly what is outstanding when your booking is confirmed.
