Booking terms
The terms that apply to every booking made with TravelNest Ltd.
1. What a booking is
Placing a booking on this site reserves a seat on a named departure. It does not charge you. The seat is held for you for the hold period shown on your booking page, and is released automatically if no payment has cleared by the end of it.
A booking becomes confirmed when your deposit clears and we have received the passport details for every traveller on it.
2. Prices
Prices are quoted per traveller in Nigerian naira and include everything listed under 'What is included' on the package page. Anything listed under 'Not included' is your own cost.
The price on your booking is the price fixed at the time you booked. Where a Hajj package is marked tentative, the price is confirmed once Saudi authorities release that season's quota and tent allocations; if the confirmed price differs, you may accept it or cancel for a full refund of anything you have paid.
3. Payment
You may pay in full or by instalments. Instalment schedules are shown on your booking page with each amount and the date it falls due.
Payments may be made by card, bank transfer or USSD through Paystack, or by direct transfer to the TravelNest account shown on your booking page. Direct transfers are applied once a member of staff has matched them, normally within one working day.
The full balance must clear before visa filing closes for your departure. That date is shown on your booking page from the moment the booking is created.
4. Cancellation and refunds
Before visa filing: your deposit is refundable less an administrative charge of 10% of the deposit, and anything paid above the deposit is refunded in full.
After the visa has been issued: the visa portion is not refundable, because that money has already been paid to the Saudi authorities and cannot be recovered by us. Ground arrangements — accommodation, transport and feeding — may be partly refundable depending on how close to departure you cancel and what we can recover from suppliers.
Within 14 days of departure: no refund is available on any element, except where we are able to resell your seat, in which case we refund what we recover less the administrative charge.
Refunds are made to the account the payment came from, within 14 working days of the cancellation being agreed.
5. Changes by you
You may move to another departure of the same package while seats remain, up to the point your visa is filed. After filing, a change requires a new visa and is treated as a new booking.
Names on a booking may be corrected free of charge before ticketing. After ticketing, name changes are subject to whatever the airline charges.
6. Changes by us
If we have to change a hotel, we will move you to a property at the same or shorter walking distance from the Haram, and we will tell you before you travel rather than on arrival.
If we cancel a departure for any reason within our control, you are entitled to a full refund of everything you have paid, including the deposit.
7. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for holding a passport valid for at least six months beyond your return date, for the vaccinations required for your departure, and for giving us accurate passport details.
A visa refused by the Saudi authorities on grounds relating to you personally does not entitle you to a refund of the visa fee, though the rest of the cancellation position above still applies.
8. Complaints
Raise a complaint with your group leader while you are travelling if at all possible, since most things can be fixed on the spot. Otherwise write to travelnestltd@gmail.com and we will respond within five working days.
